Provider and scope

These terms apply to your use of AAL Studio, including its website, account, creative tools and APIs. The provider’s verified legal identity is published in the Imprint. Paid registration remains closed until those details and the required launch configuration are complete.

New paid offers are restricted to verified business buyers acting for their business. A business checkbox alone does not establish eligibility. By agreeing at onboarding or checkout, you accept these terms. If you act for a business, you confirm that you are authorised to do so. Mandatory consumer rights continue to apply.

Account and access

Sign-in is provided through Clerk. Keep your account details accurate and protect your sign-in credentials. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account, unless applicable law provides otherwise. Contact us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

The service and AI outputs

AAL Studio provides tools for generating, editing, organising and sharing images and videos. Features, available models and generation parameters can change as providers update their services. Third-party model terms may also apply.

You retain rights in material you submit. You give us permission to process and store it as needed to provide the service, protect it, and comply with law. You may use outputs from your generations subject to applicable law and the relevant model provider’s terms. AI outputs may be similar to existing works, inaccurate or unsuitable; review them before relying on or publishing them. We do not promise that an output is unique or that you will obtain intellectual-property rights in it.

Generated media is identified as AI-generated in the product. The service does not independently verify every generated output; upstream model safeguards may apply.

AI transparency and media rights

The EU Artificial Intelligence Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689) applies in Germany. Article 50 sets transparency duties for certain providers and deployers of AI systems, including duties concerning synthetic content and deepfakes. The role and duty depend on the feature and output. Do not remove provider provenance or disclosure information, and make any disclosure required by law when you publish or share generated media. We are reviewing product controls and model-provider obligations against the applicable rules; these terms are not a statement that every generated file is marked in every context.

You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed for prompts, uploads and publication. German copyright and personality-rights rules may apply, including rights in a person’s image. Never create or distribute intimate imagery or deceptive impersonations without valid consent and legal basis.

Subscriptions and credits

The available subscription, renewal interval, price and included credits are presented as part of the purchase flow. Current plans are billed monthly in euros through Stripe. A subscription renews for another billing period unless it is cancelled before renewal. Stripe processes payments and hosts the billing portal.

Credits are a non-transferable way to use generation features; they are not money and cannot be redeemed for cash. A generation’s estimated credit cost is shown in the studio before you run it. Unused purchased credits do not automatically expire while your account remains active, including after renewal cancellation. New price versions do not change existing subscription prices or balances. Existing credits retain the legacy generation schedule; legacy and new credit schedules cannot be mixed. Finish remaining legacy credits and stop legacy renewal before switching to a new offer. Credits are reserved while a generation runs and charged when it succeeds. If it fails, the reservation is released. Auxiliary AI and generation have daily and monthly usage limits. If a limit is reached, unused credits remain available; contact support to review capacity. Any refund or withdrawal rights required by law remain unaffected.

You can manage billing and cancel a subscription through the Stripe billing portal linked from Settings, or submit a declaration through the public cancellation form. Deletion first stops future subscription billing. Account restoration does not restart cancelled billing.

Acceptable use

Do not use AAL Studio to violate the law or someone else’s rights. In particular, do not:

• create or distribute child sexual abuse material, non-consensual intimate imagery, or deceptive impersonations of real people;
• infringe copyright, privacy, publicity, trademark or other rights;
• create content that facilitates violence, exploitation, fraud, malware or other serious harm;
• circumvent access controls, abuse billing or rate limits, or disrupt the service.

We may review reports, use automated prompt checks, restrict content sharing, or suspend access where reasonably needed to enforce these terms, protect people or comply with law. You can contact us to appeal an account restriction.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep AAL Studio available, but the service depends on third-party hosting, storage, payment and AI providers. Outages and maintenance can interrupt features. We will give notice of material changes where required by law. Nothing in these terms removes your statutory rights regarding digital services or digital content.

Cancellation and account deletion

You may stop using the service at any time. Paid subscriptions can be cancelled in the billing portal; cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current billing period, as shown by Stripe. Account deletion is available from Settings and starts a 30-day recovery period before permanent deletion. You can instead request erasure without the recovery wait. Necessary financial records remain separately restricted for legal obligations. Subscription billing is stopped before deletion proceeds.

We may restrict or end access for serious or repeated breach, security risks, non-payment, or legal requirements. Where practical, we will explain the reason and how to contact us.

Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, and other cases where liability cannot legally be limited. For ordinary negligence, liability is limited to breaches of essential contractual duties and to the foreseeable loss typical for this kind of agreement. Mandatory consumer protections remain unaffected.

Applicable law and contact

German law applies, without limiting mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. Any legally permitted place of jurisdiction depends on the parties’ status and the applicable law; these terms do not impose an exclusive venue on consumers.
